night care
For some people with care needs – and their families – overnight can be the most worrying time.
This is why many prefer our live-in service where everyone can be confident that care is being given throughout the night. But even for our home care service, we can offer nighttime support when you might need it most.
This may be on a short-term basis to cover a carers’ break for a few days, a sleeping service to cover one or two nights a week enabling loved ones to get some much-needed rest, or a more permanent arrangement.

We offer two types of night care: sleeping night and waking nights. A sleeping night is when a care worker sleeps in your home, to offer reassurance or support you in the event of an emergency. During this night, a care worker can be woken up on two occasions to respond to your needs.
A waking night is when your care worker stays awake throughout the night, to support you with a medical condition, checking on you at regular intervals, helping you with mobility support, walking to the bathroom, continence needs and turning over in bed.
Our night sits usually range from 22:00 until 07:00. However, timings can be changed according to your individual needs.
Our fully trained, compassionate care workers ensure that every night goes as smoothly as possible and each person in the household sleeps easy.
